Company History

Forbes Energy Services started operations in 2003 with an experienced management team and a single well service rig and yard in Alice, Texas.

Operations are located onshore Texas and are used to help companies develop and enhance the production of oil and natural gas. The Well Servicing segment provides well maintenance services, well workovers and downhole repairs, as well as completion services. The Fluid Logistics segment collects, transports, and disposes drilling and production fluids, as well as rents portable frac tanks for wellsite fluid storage and sells drilling and completion fluids.

Forbes Energy Services operates one of the youngest and most modern fleet of well service rigs among the large well-servicing companies. The average equipment age is approximately two years, compared to the industry average of over 20 years. Our modern fleet requires less maintenance down time and is more reliable than older equipment.

Industry-Leading Safety Record
For 2006, Forbes had approximately 83% fewer incidents than the industry average. Forbes' reputation for safety is critical to the purchasing and operations managers of its top-tier customers. Forbes has a history of purchasing and deploying new rigs with enhanced safety features. Equipment specifications on new rigs better address operational and safety issues than older equipment.

Experienced Management
Senior management has over 63 years of combined oilfield services experience. Our location managers have an average experience of 23 years in the industry.
